Great Germany photobook. A remarkable book of NSDAP history. Of all the period books of the Third Reich, this has to rank as the very best. Published in 1940, in the soon-to-be-murdered city of Dresden, this beautiful and profusely pictured book contains 364 pages concerning the accomplishments of Adolf Hitler and his followers, his army and the German nation. Unlike many other books that we present in these pages, this one is not wholly concerned with the history of Germany or even particularly the history of the NSDAP. This book shows what might have been, while it was being fervently promoted and laboriously attempted. The pictures practically tell it all, but the text for the German reader is dynamic. The pictures we show here are only a small part of the great assemblage. The cover is in red leatherette with gold letters proclaiming “Great Germany.” The book measures 9 x 11 inches and is 1 1/2 inches thick.Some of the pictures of high-ranking officials and nazi party allies are covered by transluctent paper in order to preserve the image.The book is in good condition,no missing pages,with a little tearing on the back.A big map of Great Germany is attached on the last pages of the book.
