A very nice 172-page, 9-1/8 x 11 inch hardcover, very heavily illustrated Third Reich combat color book by Eric Borchert Entscheidende Stunden - mit der Kamera am Feind (Decisive Hours - With The Camera and the Enemy) as published by Wilhelm Limpert Verlag in Berlin in 1941.

This is easily among the very best combat photo collections published during the Third Reich because of its large size, the number and clarity of its excellent photos and the early use of color film in combat.

Following a short 30-page text in German, there are 90 full-page black & white combat photos and 24 full-page, full-color combat photos all by PK (Propagandakompanie) photographer Borchert, all with captions. They cover combat in all theaters (Poland, Norway, France, Maginot Line, Belgium, Dunkirk) by all types of troops from rubber boat assault troops to PAK crews and observation balloons to armor.Size 23 X 28 cm.Very good condition,Grey cloth boards with title lettering,hardcover,in the original publisher's binding.Shipping weight about 1kg.
