Anti jewish book The cicumcised Moses 1939

Third Reich-era anti-Semitic publication "Der zuruckbeschnittene Moses" ("The Circumcised Moses"), by Dr. Wilhelm Matthiessen, (Munich: Ludendorffs Verlag), 1939, 45pp. 8vo., a bizarre pseudo-scientific screed claiming that the Bible represent a "declaration of war against the freedom and lives of the people, especially against the Reich". The author further claims that there could be no such thing as a "white" Jew, and even if a Jew were to be "de-circumcised", he would still be a Jew. The front cover is illustrated with an image of a horned, leering Jew removing a theatrical mask.
